5 Ways to Find FREE IMAGES Need images for student projects? Google’s recent introduction of the “Explore” tool in Google Slides retained the option for students to find images for their slides, but removed the option to filter the images according to usage rights. There are other ways to find free images to legally use in slides, videos and other multimedia projects. The video below demonstrates five tools that students can use to find free images.   Below you’ll find examples from these sources: Wikimedia Commons Flickr Pixabay.com When you Google for images: ·      type in what you’re looking for ·      click “images” ·      click “tools” ·      click “usage rights” ·      click “labeled for reuse” ·      download your images You will find images from Wikimedia Commons, Flickr, picserver, pixabay and more. You can also directly go to pixabay.com (they ask for a donation if you download a lot). On the pixabay site, don’t use the top row, those are images are from Shutterstock, you have to pay.
