Description: As more and more educators are called to teach online, many are looking for comprehensive digital resources that can both help them in their practice and engage their learners. Participants in this workshop will learn how to utilize and navigate the recently enriched We Speak NYC online teacher and civic resources, which include narrative-based learning, popular education and visual literacy curricula. We Speak NYC (formerly We Are New York) Emmy-Award winning videos and materials highlight City services such as healthcare, workforce development, adult education, worker rights, and early childhood education.
